Herbst means ‘Autumn’ in German.
I know I could’ve taken better photos of the fall foliage, especially here in Germany! But before I knew it, most of the leaves were off the trees!
Hope you enjoy this set! Most of them were taken in the woods behind my apartment.
I think all of the photos are great but the first one is my favorite.
Thanks, Joe! Wish I could’ve taken more like that first one!
Just gorgeous
Thank you, Barb!
Beautiful series.
Thanks, Tux! So glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Lovely shots and composition! We had the same experience of meaning to go out and capture the colors then finding most of the leaves were on the ground!
Thank you very much! Hahah, I’m glad I’m not the only one that happened to! 😀 Autumn really came and went this year.
superb!! wow!
Thank you, Mohd! 🙂
You really caught the feeling of Efterår (Autumn in Danish), I especially love the pictures of the brown mushrooms!
Efterår!! I’ll have to look up how to pronounce that! 😀 Thank you very much!
I love your autumn woodland shots, it’s like a fairy tale landscape 🙂
Thanks a bunch! 😀
Very nice set, bursting with the slight melancholy of the season.
Thank you, Mike! I’m so pleased you saw a bit of melancholy, because that’s what I saw and felt when I took the photos. I’m not quite ready for winter yet!
I enjoyed the nostalgia in your shots. The winter here today is cold and very wet – thoroughly unpleasant
Reblogged this on Joe the Explorer.
Mahalos for the reblog, Joe! 🙂
