Karma + Tiff and the Hippy Hoedown. Part 1

Karma + Tiff and the Hippy Hoedown. Part 1

Let me first start out by saying that I did not take any of these photos. They were taken by the talented photographer Jonathan Steinberg.

My sister and her husband were married on the beautiful day of July 7, 2012 on one of the San Juan islands. Unfortunately, I was unable to take any photos because I was too busy running around like a chicken with their head cut off along with the rest of my family. This wedding took a year to plan, and though the decorations may look simple, we had put a lot of details into it. A lot of things were handmade; from the cake topper, to the table numbers and napkin rings on the table.

Hippy Hoedown is what the locals on the island referred to as a wedding.

At first, I was going to pick a few of my favorite photos to share. However, there were too many I like so I’m splitting this post. I mainly wanted to share these with family and friends that were unable to make it to the wedding. Check back tomorrow for the second half. Thanks to my sister and brother in law for allowing me to share these!

The Emerald City. Part 1

The Emerald City. Part 1

Seattle would be my perfect city if it weren’t so rainy all the time! I lived there a few years ago before moving to Texas. I really miss the atmosphere of the city, mountains, and the ocean. My sister and her husband live in Seattle, so I enjoy visiting them often.
Most of these photos are recent. There are a few that I took years ago when I lived there.
